Uganda Hospital Project
DJ has been working for almost 2 years now at the Kabarole Hospital in Fort Portal, Uganda. The hospital before DJ's first visit in January, 2006 was in such bad condition, it was impossible to sterilize it or keep it clean. Helping Hand has provided all the money and man power necessary to complete the project in just over two years. The hospital has been completely remodeled including a new floor and a new ceiling inside the entire hospital complex. Check out the pictures of the floor project in progress:

Other Uganda Ministries
Other ministry in Uganda includes visiting orphanages, schools, hospitals, and churches. DJ has assisted with medical clinics in remote villages to help the sick. We have found the people to be wonderful, humble, and very gracious, and also, greatly in need. We were able to take medical treatment, medicine, food, clothing, toys, and candy to the people there who were in need. We also brought garden tools and seeds to hand out to those who had the means to grow a garden. Everywhere Helping Hand goes the Gospel is preached and the people responded very favorably to the Gospel and the message of hope that is offered by our Lord Jesus Christ.
